物种信息

var. microcalathinum Ling, 植物分类学报, 10, 2: 174. 1965.

茎高10-20厘米；叶长10-20毫米，宽1-1.2毫米；苞叶群径15-25毫米；头状花序径2.5-3毫米；总苞长2毫米；小花长仅2毫米。

产四川西部（道孚、马尔康）。生于高山和亚高山的针叶林、干燥灌丛、干燥草地和草地，常大片生长。海拔3000-3500米。

戟叶火绒草与薄雪亚组的一些种一样有头状花序和植株都较小的类型。
